Half day
Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple Tour
A focused West Bank morning: the painted tombs of the pharaohs, Hatshepsut's terraced temple, and the Colossi of Memnon.

A short distance from the Valley of the Kings, this valley was reserved for royal wives and children. Its most celebrated tomb belongs to Nefertari, the favorite queen of Ramesses II, whose paintings are among the finest in all of Egypt.
Nefertari's tomb requires a separate, higher-priced ticket and limited-time entry to protect it, but for lovers of ancient art it is unforgettable.

Used mainly during the New Kingdom. Nefertari's tomb was discovered in 1904 and underwent a major conservation project in the 1980s and 90s.
