Spend the day at Orange Bay on Giftun Island, with snorkelling stops on the reef, time on the white sand and lunch served on board.
Orange Bay sits on the edge of Giftun Island, far enough out from Hurghada that the water changes colour on the way. The sand is white, the shallows stay clear a long way from shore, and the wooden walkways and swings out over the water are the reason most people recognise the place before they get there.
The boat leaves from Hurghada Marina and stops at the reef before the island. That is where the snorkelling happens: Orange Bay's own lagoon is shallow and calm, which makes it good for swimming but thin on coral, so the crew take you to proper reef sites instead. Snorkelling gear and life jackets are provided, and the crew are in the water with you.
On the island there is time to swim, walk the sandbars and take photographs without being moved along. Lunch is served back on board, with soft drinks through the day. Entrance to Orange Bay is included, which matters here: the island charges an access fee that many trips leave the guest to pay on arrival.
Collected from your hotel by coach, then boarding formalities at the marina and collection of snorkelling equipment.
Out into the open Red Sea to the first reef, with 45 to 60 minutes in the water alongside a marine guide.
Ashore on the island for swimming, the walkways and swings, and free time on the sand.
Open buffet with grills or fish, salads, rice, and hot and cold drinks.
A second reef site, followed by time for the banana boat and other fast water rides.
Sailing back to the marina, then coach transfer to the hotels.
Send us your details and we'll confirm availability and price. No payment is taken online.
The day runs from around 08:00 until 16:30, plus the transfer back to your hotel.
